Seamless Changeover

If a householder already has an oil boiler and is thinking of changing to a heat pump, the VortexAir allows them to make the change seamlessly without the added cost of having to replace radiators or possibly being without heating while the heat pump is being installed. The boiler can be fitted immediately and any additional installation work that the heat pump requires can be carried out over the following days.

It is estimated that the heat pump will be used for about 60-70% of the annual heating requirement, allowing the oil boiler to only come on when the temperatures drop so low that it become inefficient to run the heat pump.

Benefits of an Air Source Heat Pump

With the recent fluctuations in price and supply of fossil fuels, air source heat pumps offer both an environmentally and economically sustainable alternative. Home heating in the UK accounts for around 30% of CO2. The heat source used by Grant Aerona³ heat pumps is entirely renewable which helps reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere and, in doing so, lowers the carbon footprint of the home.

Guarantees

The Grant VortexAir is guaranteed for two years if the product is registered within 30 days from installation (excluding consumable items), subject to being serviced annually and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. On completion of the installation, the unit must be commissioned and the online guarantee registration submitted to Grant Engineering
